This kit replaces the corrugated factory inlet hose with our better looking, smoother flowing 4-ply silicone hose. The pleats found in the factory hose disrupts air flow, which limits power potential and throttle response.

  • (1) 4-Ply Silicone Intake Hose Kit (1 Hose w/ 2 Brackets and 2 Zip-Ties)
  • (2) 304 Stainless Steel Worm Clamps

Installation was straightforward and the silicone feels much more durable than the factory plastic. No check engine light or adjustments needed after swapping it in, which was a relief. Definitely adds a nicer intake sound without being too loud.

Swapped out the corrugated factory pipe on my TLX Type-S and the intake sound is noticeably cleaner now, no weird drone at highway speeds. Install took about an hour with basic hand tools. Nice that it fits the RHD models too since mine's an international spec.
