This kit replaces the corrugated factory inlet hose with our better looking, smoother flowing 4-ply silicone hose. The pleats found in the factory hose disrupts air flow, which limits power potential and throttle response.

The silicone material is noticeably thicker and more rigid than the stock rubber, and the fitment was absolutely perfect on my '23 Type-S. Installation took maybe 20 minutes with basic tools, and I can feel a slightly sharper throttle response now. No check engine light or issues at all.
