STRUT BAR INSTALL GUIDE

As a company founded by enthusiasts with grassroots racing history dating back into the late 90’s our team understands the importance of keeping Honda’s racing heritage alive. Our goal with the Throwback Strut Bar project was to design a strut bar that was as light and structurally rigid as possible while reminiscent of the OEM strut bar offered on the iconic DC2 Acura Integra Type-R. The PRL Motorsports Throwback Strut Bar increases chassis strength, rigidity, and drastically reduces body flex to improve vehicle handling. Factory mounting points are retained for ease of installation and to meet various racing class specifications, such as SCCA Street Touring. This design is perfect for track users and daily drivers.

The red powder coating matches my Integra's accents perfectly and it fits without any modification needed. Gives the engine bay a cleaner look and I can feel slightly sharper turn-in during my morning commute. Only knock is the bolts could be a bit longer for easier initial threading.

Install was pretty straightforward on my Integra, and the bar clears the engine bay without any interference. The welds look clean and it definitely tightens up the front end during cornering. Only wish the included hardware was black instead of silver to match the bar better.

The red powder-coating gives it a nice pop under the hood, and I noticed the front end feels noticeably tighter through sharp corners. My only gripe is the included hardware could be a bit better labeled, but once you figure it out the fitment on my Integra was spot-on.
